5As of Healthy Pregnancy Weight Gain

In 2013, CON-RCO convened a working group of nurses, midwives, primary care physicians, obstetricians, researchers and policy makers to adapt the 5As of Obesity Management for pregnancy.

This modified 5As framework is intended to help primary care practitioners discuss and manage gestational weight with their patients.

The 5As of Healthy Pregnancy Weight Gain professional printed tool kit
includes a practitioner's checklist, patient tear-off pad, a desktop tool to facilitate discussions on weight with patients, and a practitioner's guide to incorporating the 5As into daily practice. Click below to head to the CON Store to order your copies today.
