How is the AMRA MRI different than typical MRIs?
Traditionally, an MRI exam takes 45 minutes to one hour. We work on the philosophy that a MRI body composition scan would be a rapid scan – no more than 10 minutes. That's a major advantage of our technology – that it has extremely good performance, while enabling a rapid scan. It is typically a time-consuming task for a radiologist to outline the image in different regions. We reduce the manual effort needed to extract the measures and therefore make the technique much more accessible. Is the AMRA MRI available anywhere in Canada?
The technology should be in Canada some time in 2018.
