MEMBER SINCE: Apr 29, 2014
LAST UPDATED: Oct 04, 2015

PROFILE: My work is at the intersection of public health ethics, medical sociology, and knowledge translation (KT) although I have a special interest in population screening. My interest in childhood obesity stems from analyses of ethical issues and particularly those arising from different policy options, such as questions of responsibility, stigma, paternalism, and justice.

I am an advocate of mixed methods approaches and interdisciplinary research. Methodologically I have a keen interest in latent variable methods such as structural equation modelling.

I am the co-author (with Kristin Voigt and Garrath Williams) of "Childhood Obesity: Ethical and Policy Issues" (Oxford University Press, New York): http://global.oup.com/academic/product/childhood-obesity-9780199964482;jsessionid=3AD1F39542EB3F04C36E2344B29D2D85?cc=ca&lang=en&
