on going studies on (1) the co-morbidity type 2 diabetes–depression and (2) the effects of physical activity on muscle energy metabolism.

This conference brings together an interdisciplinary group of professionals working in the field of childhood and adolescent obesity. The 7th conference will focus on a range of topics that impact the prevention and treatment of obesity beyond the clinic setting, considering the broader social and environmental factors that influence the health of children, adolescents, and families. The Learning Retreat on the Principles and Practice of Interdisciplinary Obesity Management for Dietitians. Successful completion of this program also qualifies dietitians for the education component for the Certified Bariatric Educator (CBE) designation.
