STOP Obesity Alliance to Unveil “Why Weight? A Guide to Discussing Obesity & Health with Your Patients" at Obesity Week
Interested in learning more about the Strategies to Overcome and Prevent (STOP) Obesity Alliance? Looking to maximize your networking time while attending Obesity Week? Join STOP on Wednesday, November 5 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. at The Westin Boston Waterfront to meet individuals from some of our more than 90 member organizations and hear about our latest tool for health care providers, “Why Weight? A Guide to Discussing Obesity & Health with Your Patients.”
The Alliance’s Director, William Dietz, MD, PhD, who also heads the Sumner Redstone Global Center on Prevention and Wellness at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, will lead the meeting. In addition to learning more about STOP, meeting attendees will learn first-hand from the developers of STOP’s discussion tool for health care providers about ways the tool can be used to develop effective strategies for initiating conversations about weight.
